Dylan,
Last night you ate two pieces of your leftover candy from Halloween. You spent the next 90 minutes jabbering non-stop. It's almost difficult to believe sugar could possibly have such an immediate (and lasting) effect, but it's undeniable.

symmetry
Dylan,
I often find interesting your choices of when to build symmetrically
and when not. I can't assign any particular meaning to it, but it seems to come naturally as a sort of reflection of your aesthetic preferences.

vital signs
Dylan,
You just had your annual "Well child" doctor visit. Here are the numbers:
Blood pressure: 88/55
Weight: 39.90 lbs
Height: 42.5 in
Body Mass Index: 15.52
The doc says your height and weight are both at the 90th percentile for your age, though I think that may be slightly skewed by the fact you've been four years old for over two months already.
Dad
UPDATE: After checking the charts for myself, it looks to me like your weight is at the 80th percentile.

watch, dad
Dylan,
You just asked me to watch you use a fork and knife to cut a banana into segments and eat it.

princesses and fairies
Dylan,
Your buddy came over today and brought both his pairs of fairy wings.
You've taken a liking to them.

flying machine
You say it can fly "higher than a cloud can flow, higher than a kite
can fly", and I believe.
